POSITION: Communications Intern - Special Projects

Jaguar Land Rover North America’s internship program is a great opportunity for college students entering their junior or senior year, or who are currently in a graduate school program, to gain hands-on experience in the exciting world of the automotive industry! This is a great opportunity for personal growth and development from a business and learning perspective.
In this internship, you will support the execution and development of special projects across our Communications team. This internship provides the opportunity to contribute to high-priority brand initiatives, with a focus on Public Relations (PR), asset development, and consumer events. You will gain valuable hands-on experience while assisting with a variety of dynamic tasks aimed at elevating our brand presence.
Details of the program:
- The program is open to current students at a Junior or Senior level in their Bachelor’s Degree program or a Graduate Program
- The Internship runs from June 16, 2025 to May 22, 2026
- 25-29 hours per week during business hours (Business Hours: Monday- Friday 8:30am-5:00pm)
- Hybrid Schedule available
WHAT TO EXPECT:
- Assist in the development and execution of PR strategies and campaigns.
- Support the creation and distribution of press materials, including press releases, media kits, and pitches.
- Collaborate with team members to draft and edit content (written, video, ppt) for internal and external communications.
- Assist with the planning and coordination of marketing materials, PR releases, media programs for consumer events and promotional activations.
- Support team members on the development and execution of Hosted Media programs
- Help track and analyze media coverage, monitoring for key trends and opportunities.
- Collaborate with communications agencies and internal stake holders for tracking and program monitoring.
- Provide logistical and administrative support for special projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
- Aid in asset development, including drafting copy and sourcing visuals for social media, websites, and other marketing materials.
- Develop communication reporting via ppt, excel and recap videos by gathering data, key visuals, performance metric and tracking.
- Support the team in day-to-day communications tasks as needed.
- Perform other duties as required
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- Must be enrolled in a college/university for the Fall 2025 semester.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with social media platforms and content management tools a plus.
- Creative mindset with an interest in branding, media relations, and consumer engagement.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Video editing skills a plus
- Must have current ability to legally work in the United States.
