As Security & Emergency Operations Officer here, you will be responsible for establishing the policies designed to protect JLR assets. Those assets are defined as people as well as property; tangible or intangible, that the company or an individual owns. In protecting those assets Security and Emergency Operations must be managed effectively; the impact of not doing so can affect sales performance and ultimately the profitability of the Company.

• The primary function of this role is to protect our people, property and assets
• You will be expected to attain and maintain competencies in: Basic Firefighting, Breathing Apparatus, Road Traffic Collision Rescue, Emergency Fire Appliance Driver, Pump Operator, BA Controller, Command and Control, Fire Investigation
• Environmental Incident Management and Containment, Hazardous Materials, Dangerous Goods
• To work as an operational team member carrying out preventative work and audits covering all areas of the site
• Attend a variety of meetings across the site and liaise with all levels within the business

WHAT YOU’LL NEED 

Along with your ambition to achieve the exceptional, there are several skills that you’ll need to have to help you succeed here, including:

• Able to advise, negotiate and influence at all levels in both the public and business environment
• A good level of IT competence is required in programmes such as Google, MS Office and ability to work with internal software packages
• Excellent communciation skills – both spoken and written
