WHAT TO EXPECT

 

The purpose of this role is to support the Manufacturing Programme Management and programme launch teams by delivering proactive Finance business partnering. As a Finance Business Partner, you will build a credible productive partnership with the operational businesses you support. This role will also maintain links to the appropriate programme finance teams in terms of forecasting and budgetary control.

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

 

  • Delivering finance solutions to support the strategic direction of the business while ensuring the finance strategy and approach support the functional managers to achieve objectives 
  • Preparing and presenting financial forecasts, budgets and business plans to ensure strategic objectives are met
  • Scenario planning and project scoping and management to achieve financial objectives
  • Cross-functional working with the wider finance community to deliver finance strategies and initiatives
  • Calculating finance sensitivities, understanding key value levers and using financial analytics to identify opportunities to improve business performance 

 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

 

  • Experience in a finance business partnering role
  • Sound financial and commercial business insight shown through evidence of developing and introducing innovative practices and processes in support of strategic business goals 
  • Strong numerical skills supported by communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail 
  • A sound analytical background
