WHAT TO EXPECT
Working as a Supply Chain Project Analyst within the Supply Chain Operations Development team, you will be fundamental to the digital transformation, delivering products and services driving competitive advantage and efficiency by reducing costs, improving delivery performance, creating value and driving profitable growth for the teams.
You will work on the end-to-end implementation of digital solutions (including SAP) within JLR Supply Chain Operations, to deliver business improvements and create value. Embracing technology-enabled change, you will need to draw on and develop your Supply Chain & Logistics domain knowledge and systems expertise. A Creators’ Code mindset is paramount, and you will always ensure that the products you deliver are tailored to the needs of your stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Requirements gathering across the operations – analysing pain points within existing processes and systems, identifying improvement opportunities and project scoping
- Day-to-day project management – running workshops with operational and technical stakeholders and ensuring milestones are met
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions, working with Digital team and implementation partners on delivery
- Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested from time to time
WHAT YOU NEED
- Experience working in the Supply Chain / Logistics sector
- Knowledge of Supply Chain Systems such as ERP/MRP, Control Tower/Connected Supply Chain Systems
- Working knowledge and experience using and/or implementing SAP
- ERP, warehouse and yard management, transport management or data management
- Experience in use of lean and agile business improvement
- Able to conduct detailed business process mapping / analysis and identify improvement opportunities, supported by data
