WHAT TO EXPECT

As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will be a subject matter expert and coach for ensuring robust engineering design through JLR’s Product Development Process with a strong focus on Verification & Validation. Your role will be to join the Engineering Excellence team to drive and support our Engineering Quality strategy to become the automotive industry world leader by setting benchmarks in Quality, Satisfaction and Reliability through sustainable and innovative luxury products.  

Key Accountabilities and Responsbilities

• Verification & Validation Process Development with a focus on Quality of Event
• Coach and mentor individuals or teams on best practices on both upcoming and existing projects
• Lead transformation projects to improve Verification & Validation processes across Product Engineering
• Prevent Recurrence measures and Lessons Learnt Implementation
• Provide technical expertise where appropriate 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

You will bring your skills and experience including:

• Product Engineering in a large multi-national organisation. 
• Increasing responsibility in a variety of Product Engineering environments focused primarily on complex electro-mechanical-software integrated product architectures used in the automotive industry 
• Supporting Product Development projects and organisations from concept to launch 
• Strong people and leadership skills, with the ability to work individually and in a cross functional team 
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
