WHAT TO EXPECT
The CCDS (Commodity Creation & Delivery System) team are responsible for supporting cross functional areas in Commodity Planning and APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) and to enable JLR to Conceive, Develop, Deliver and Launch new products.
In this role, you’ll play a key role in Supervising the team to maintain the BAU (Business as Usual) systems and processes, developing the future version to stay in line with our changing business needs and supporting daily activities to support the ongoing use of CCDS and APQP.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Supporting wider CCDS team in ongoing improvements to process based on feedback and related process improvements
- Creation of metrics to support programme requirements
- Act as support to CCDS Team Members by acting as secondary point of contact for end users such as Programme Teams and Deliverable Assessors, Cross Functional Business Areas, Planning Managers / Schedulers and Commodity Team members
- Highlighting areas for future development to reduce manual activities
- Continuous development of documentation to support the infrastructure
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Good communication and presentation skills
- An understanding of the fundamental principles to do with the Commodity Creation Delivery System.
- Proven ability to work within collaborative teams to deliver process and people related objectives
- PC literate to include Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Sharepoint, Project and Visio experience desirable
- Be capable of and display a desire for continuous self / team improvement and development
- Demonstrate delivery of process improvement/process transformation delivery
