Join JLR as a Senior PR & Media Relations Officer - Jaguar Racing!
Are you ready to make a significant impact in the world of motorsport? As a Senior PR & Media Relations Officer, you will support the Global PR & Communications Manager in developing and delivering market-leading campaigns for Jaguar Racing and its commercial partners. Acting as a primary point of contact for our markets, you will liaise with International PR Managers to ensure clear communication and provide ongoing support to maximize opportunities. You'll also work closely with the Jaguar brand activation team, leading the development, coordination, and communication of medium and long-term PR strategies to all internal and external stakeholders.
In this dynamic role, you will engage in proactive media relations to secure earned coverage in key media verticals. You'll ensure that stakeholder input, including team management, sponsors, and global and corporate PR teams, is thoroughly considered. With a high level of autonomy, you'll craft detailed communications plans, messaging, and asset information, ensuring timely delivery to all stakeholders. You'll bring ambition, a can-do attitude, and a passion for teamwork, with the creativity to achieve cut-through in a congested media landscape. Your success will be measured by PR value, reach figures, and opportunities to see (OTS), challenging the team positively.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Join a world-class PR communications team dedicated to promoting and protecting Jaguar Racing both internally and externally
- Craft and share positive stories to enhance our reputation and brand health, with a focus on Jaguar Racing and our people
- Plan and schedule race weekends, collaborating closely with our global markets, while leading storytelling efforts within Jaguar Racing
- Respond to media enquiries, create engaging content, and build a network of advocates and influencers
- Develop spokesperson briefing materials for media events and support internal communications by sharing positive stories
- Contribute to the strategic and tactical planning of our partnerships communications strategy and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Collaborate with the Product and Brand PR team and align with JLR’s Reimagine strategy
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Extensive PR experience with a proven track record in managing media relations, press activities, and impactful PR campaigns
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems proactively, and deliver projects on time and within budget
- Experience working with media to generate positive news stories and enhance brand reputation, combined with in-depth awareness of the JLR news agenda and key business issues
- Creative thinking and the ability to develop engaging content to support product stories, along with excellent communication skills, both spoken and written
- Proficiency in numeracy and budgeting, as well as strong IT skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Collaborative team player who is dependable, flexible, adaptable to change, and willing to travel to Formula E races and tests as required
