WHAT TO EXPECT

 

Are you passionate about driving cultural transformation and championing diversity, equity, and inclusion? Join JLR’s global Corporate Affairs and Motorsport (CA&M) chapter as a Senior Internal Communications Officer – DE&I. This role is pivotal in shaping the narrative and fostering an inclusive culture within JLR. You will lead the planning and delivery of DE&I communications, working closely with our internal and external communication teams, and the DE&I team. Your contributions will directly support our DE&I strategy and Reimagine strategy, propelling our journey towards a more inclusive and equitable workplace.

 

As a Senior Internal Communications Officer – DE&I, you will have the unique opportunity to:

 

  • Influence and Educate: Create world-class campaigns and compelling content that educate and positively influence perceptions about DE&I, both within JLR and in the broader community.
  • Strategic Impact: Develop and implement a strategic DE&I communication plan that aligns with our overarching DE&I goals, ensuring that our messaging is consistent, authentic, and impactful.
  • Executive Collaboration: Work closely with executive sponsors to showcase their roles as key leaders in DE&I, highlighting their contributions to positive progress and inspiring others to follow suit.
  • Event Leadership: Support DE&I communications and events across various sites, ensuring that key cultural dates like International Women’s Day and Black History Month are recognised and celebrated.
  • Global Reach: Collaborate with global JLR teams to amplify and share DE&I activities worldwide, supporting teams with activations and ensuring that our DE&I efforts are visible and impactful on a global scale.

 

In this role, you will be at the forefront of JLR’s cultural transformation, using your strong writing and communication skills to engage, align, and influence stakeholders across the business. Your ability to manage multiple stakeholders and create engaging content will be essential in driving our DE&I initiatives forward. WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

  • Experience working within internal communications in a global business
  • Exceptional communication skills – both spoken and written
  • Strategic thinker with strong knowledge of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and a love of creative communications
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
