WHAT TO EXPECT
The role of Product Litigation Advisor is in the Litigation & Regulatory Pillar, which forms part of the wider Legal & Compliance Enterprise Chapter. The Litigation & Regulatory Pillar work collaboratively with the Product Integrity team due to the nature of their work.
The Litigation & Regulatory Pillar has a key role within Product Integrity in promoting a culture of risk awareness and litigation reporting, driving continuous improvement of litigation management and robustly reviewing, strategising and managing all market’s legal matters from beginning to end.
As a Product Litigation Advisor, you will be fundamental in helping to deliver the objectives of the Litigation & Regulatory Pillar.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Supporting the handling of ongoing legal proceedings, at the direction of the General Counsel, Litigation & Regulatory and wider Litigation & Regulatory Pillar team members
- Assisting with Brand Protection matters at the direction of the Global Brand Protection Manager
- Supporting regulatory guidance at the direction of the General Counsel and assisting
- the Product Integrity team, including leading the relationship management between Product Integrity and the wider business, progression of Product Integrity matters and acting as market liaison
- Leading the collation, analysis and subsequent business reporting of Litigation reporting for all non-US and Canada markets
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
To be successful in the role you will need to be results driven, demonstrating tenacity, curiosity and perseverance with the ability to deliver projects in a complex and fast-moving environment. You will be effective in a team environment, able to develop and support team members and lead cross-functional collaborations. You will also require the following skills and experience:
- Degree qualified in Law or equivalent experience as a Legal Executive
- Significant experience in carrying out legal research, drafting and legislative reviews
- Experience in a similar role in litigation gained at a large commercial company or private practice firm/in-house legal team
- High commercial acumen with confidence to challenge and question where needed
- Have the skills to analyse and assimilate legal advice/information covering multiple jurisdictions, consider impact to business and provide creative, and commercially aware solutions in a structured, user-friendly manner
