WHAT TO EXPECT:
The manufacturing release operations team are responsible for the creation, maintenance and release of the Manufacturing Bills of Material for each phase and gateway of the product through the vehicle lifecycle. 

MBOM Engineers are responsible for specific areas of the vehicle. They should have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of which parts/commodities are fitted to which specifications of vehicles. They have a direct impact on vehicle build quality and success at the Manufacturing plants.


Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain the manufacturing bill of materials using DELMIA.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and updated MBOM information.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies between EBOM and MBOM.
  • Interface with MP&L to ensure alignment between MBOM and production schedules.
  • Support new product introductions by creating and validating MBOM structures for new models.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Proven experience in engineering release.
  • Well knowledge of Navigating Engineering structure.
  • Experience or knowledge of driving process improvement activities and managing change.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • DELMIA Knowledge or SAP S4 Hana Knowledge would be beneficial
