WHAT TO EXPECT

 

At JLR our creative organisation is evolving to support our ambitious ‘Reimagine’ strategy, redefining modern luxury across our four iconic brands: Jaguar, Range Rover, Defender, and Discovery.

 

Our dynamic creative structure includes multiple disciplines - Exterior and Interior Vehicle Design, Brand, Digital, and Materiality—all dedicated to crafting exceptional luxury experiences for our customers.

 

You will join our newly established Brand Design team as a Brand Design Manager. In this role, you will be a design leader with an established industry reputation, driving creative excellence across all JLR brands in collaboration with internal teams, commercial partners, and external agencies.

 

You will be bringing a strong creative vision to every project, balancing hands-on design with leadership and direction. Leading and inspiring teams by providing clear creative guidance, ensuring a seamless and compelling brand experience. To be a key influencer in the evolution of JLR’s brand identities, setting us apart in the luxury automotive

landscape.

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

 

  • Delivering Exceptional Creative Output. Ensure that all customer touchpoints reflect outstanding creative quality, aligning with the unique identity of each JLR brand
  • Brand Guardianship. Immerse yourself in the distinctive world of each brand, maintaining and communicating their creative direction to ensure consistency across all experiences and products
  • Customer-Centric Brand Experience. Provide insight and design expertise to bring each brand’s visual language, tonality, and strategic direction to life, ensuring a modern luxury experience at every interaction
  • Creative Storytelling & Stakeholder Engagement. Use exceptional communication and storytelling skills to present creative concepts and outputs to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and engagement
  • Leadership & Team Development. Lead and grow the Brand Design team, fostering a strong internal creative culture that supports the long-term vision and strategy for JLR’s House of Brands

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

  • Extensive industry experience with an established reputation in your industry
  • Multidisciplinary experience across but not limited to - graphic design, creative strategy, packaging design, digital touchpoints, spatial design, product design, and art direction
  • A strong ability to translate brand strategy into actionable design concepts that can be effectively implemented
  • Hands-on design skills, with proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite  (experience with 3D and other specialist software is a plus)
  • A commercial mindset, ensuring brand design contributes to business performance and customer engagement
  • Experience in leading and inspiring creative teams, providing clear direction to deliver outstanding design
