We are seeking a highly skilled engineer to join our team and support our Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicle (MHEV) propulsion systems. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology, solve complex problems, and contribute to the future of sustainable transportation.
As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and resolving MHEV system-related issues across our global customer base. You will have the chance to collaborate with forward model development teams, define new areas for quality improvement, and provide invaluable support to dealers and internal problem-solving teams. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with customer service teams and JLR repair dealerships worldwide to resolve technical MHEV propulsion issues.
- Identify the appropriate level of repair for customer vehicles.
- Enhance the Technical Assistance process to track and address emerging issues.
- Support the critical concerns team with detailed analysis and review of significant failures.
- Develop and validate fixes for field issues in conjunction with the quality team.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Hands-on experience with Hybrid Systems fault finding, repair and development or testing. Experience of working in Engineering facilities, rig environments and vehicle testing
- Base overview of Hybrid & Electric Vehicle propulsion systems.
- A working knowledge of electrical Engineering and battery technology including system interactions.
- An understanding of vehicle diagnostic tools and data analysis
- Advanced road / Class 2 driving licence
