Are you ready to tackle Mild Hybrid System-related challenges across our business and global customer base? As a key member of our team, you will design and process quality-related issues, develop and validate fixes for field problems, and ensure forward model teams integrate lessons learned. Your role will involve managing and resolving key quality projects, focusing on customer complaints using the JLR IQM 8D management system. You will define new areas for quality improvement, support dealers, internal problem-solving teams, and the customer service organization, and ensure robustness during problem resolution to prevent recurrence.

You would be responsible for:

• Managing IQM projects from problem statement to root cause, corrective action, implementation, and prevention steps.
• Leading and coordinate cross-functional teams including design, validation, STA, and manufacturing to ensure robust progression of quality and warranty projects.
• Lead root cause investigation activities using tools such as Is/Is Not, 5 Why, Scope Analysis, statistical quality data analysis, and vehicle-level validation tests.
• Manage, coordinate, and perform validation plans at the root cause and corrective action steps of your project.
• Ensure necessary interim, corrective, and preventive actions are taken to address issues in current production and in the field, providing the best solutions for the JLR service team.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Good understanding of engineering statistics to define the scope of customer problems. Strong Excel skills including data manipulation, analysis, charting, and pivot tables.
• Experience applying a Systems Engineering approach.
• Powertrain System & Technical issue management experience.
• Ability to apply problem-solving skills such as 8D, 6 Sigma, data analysis, and validation tests within a system engineering environment.
• Engineering experience of MHEV Propulsion systems/integration.
