As a part of the Creative team, you’ll be at the core of what we do at JLR, shaping the future of modern luxury. Working in Vehicle Design, Materiality, Brand Design, Digital Design, Business Planning and Transformation, you’ll collaborate with other creative minds to deliver sustainable solutions using cutting-edge technology. Unleash your creativity on iconic brands. Come, be a proud creator of the exceptional.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
The purpose of this role is to plan and support the delivery of a wide and exciting range of Creative projects, acting as a central point of co-ordination for the Brand Design team. No direct experience of Brand Design is necessarily required, but a passion and desire to understand the work is essential, as you will be working closely with the designers. Your main responsibility will be to deliver consistent project management processes across Brand Design and collaborate with the wider group of project professionals across Creative and JLR. You will be using your initiative to solve queries and problems as they arise, to ensure that projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
• Lead the project planning for Brand Design within the Creative department by organising project planning board, including fielding and prioritising incoming requests, maintaining project management processes and tracking any project changes.
• Work with all project stakeholders to ensure the project portfolio provides appropriate data to support the prioritisation of work.
• Provide project summary updates, resolve queries and manage change across all projects.
• Support resource planning using the project portfolio to guide the short-term management of Brand Design resource, as well as provide data to enable comprehension of future demand.
• Support the early identification of risks or issues to project delivery, working with team members to answer queries as they arise and, using the agreed framework, effectively communicate and mitigate issues.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
● Excellent communication and influencing skills.
● Strong understanding of project management principles.
● Proven ability to work autonomously and deliver projects.
● Confident in documenting project plans that track and report key activities, milestones, dependencies, and resource requirements.
Creating Modern Luxury requires a modern approach to work. At JLR, hybrid working is a voluntary, non-contractual arrangement providing employees more choice and flexibility around how, when and where they work. Some roles require more on-site work, but details of this can be discussed with the hiring manager during the interview stage.
We work hard to nurture a culture that is inclusive and welcoming to all. We understand candidates may require reasonable adjustments during the recruitment process. Please discuss these with your recruiter so we can accommodate your needs.
Applicants from all backgrounds are welcome. If you’re unsure that you meet the full criteria of a role – but you're interested in where it could take you – we still encourage you to apply. We believe in people's ability to grow and develop within their role – it’s what makes living the exceptional with soul possible.
JLR is committed to equal opportunity for all.
