Come and join JLR as a Lead Business Strategic Planning Executive – Motorsport!

 

We are seeking an accomplished individual to play a pivotal role in advancing our motorsport initiatives. This role is integral to supporting business planning and strategy for the motorsport team at JLR. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering presentations for governance, ensuring that all project management actions are followed through, and supporting the team in meeting all deliverables. As the leader of governance for the overall role and team, you will manage metrics across both the Defender Dakar and Formula E programmes, ensuring that all strategic objectives are met.

 

In addition to these responsibilities, you will play a key role in coordinating and integrating efforts across the motorsport functions. This includes preparing and delivering high-quality presentations, managing project timelines, and ensuring that all actions and decisions are effectively communicated and executed. Your leadership in governance will be crucial in maintaining the efficiency and success of the motorsport programmes at JLR.

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

 

  • Programme Governance: Support the Business Planning and Strategy Manager with governance processes and deliverables, produce materials for executive and steering committees, manage follow-up actions, and deliver ad-hoc presentations
  • Business Planning: Lead the preparation of functional inputs for reviews and town halls, run bi-weekly briefings, manage team meetings, attend functional reviews, and oversee presentation materials and SharePoint structure
  • Metrics Management: Oversee the management of metrics across both programmes, ensure accurate KPI reporting, and collaborate with specialist agencies
  • GDPR Compliance: Act as the GDPR champion, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and promoting best practices within the team

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

  • Proven ability to craft compelling and visually appealing presentations at board level with high attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and professionalism in all materials
  • Skilled in driving actions and decisions within complex programmes: Ensure that objectives are met, and projects are delivered on time. Strong ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities
  • Proficient in tracking and analysing key performance indicators: Measure success and identify areas for improvement. Experience working with data to provide insightful reports that support strategic decision-making
  • Adept at planning, executing, and overseeing projects, manage resources, timelines, ensuring that project goals are achieved
  • Capable of preparing comprehensive project documentation and presentations for others to deliver: Ensure smooth transfer of ownership and provide necessary support to ensure successful outcomes
