WHAT TO EXPECT
The role of Internal Communications Officer – Events & Motorsport sits within JLR’s global Corporate Affairs and Motorsport (CA&M) chapter (business unit).
The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for leading the planning and delivery of all employee experiential activations that promote and help to grow our global network of enthusiastic and informed advocates about our business and our brands.
In addition, they will lead on all global Motorsport activations for our colleagues and key stakeholders such as suppliers and our wider Tata group.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Directly responsible for the planning and implementation of all employee experiential activity from start to finish, for the business, whilst providing guidance and support to local teams for delivery of events at other locations (e.g. manufacturing sites). Activity examples include employee competitions, product site tours, driver signing events & House of Brand activations
- Ownership of the overall master event planner for the wider internal communications team
- Lead on experiential budget for employee experiential activity, raising approval papers where needed and purchase orders
- Prepare reports, presentations and management information for the leadership team and other stakeholders, using data and metrics to report and provide feedback/ improvement recommendations on engagement good practice
- Building advocacy for our Jaguar TCS race team through experiential opportunities to drive understanding of the strategic importance of racing to Jaguar’s electric future and our wider overall business reflecting our Reimagine strategy and our transformation through Refocus in relation to Motorsport e.g., Jaguar going all-electric
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Significant experience of managing events
- Be a confident and influential stakeholder manager
- Strong ability to organise self, and prioritise tasks in order to meet tight deadlines and multiple conflicting priorities
- Ability to think creatively and produce imaginative activity
- Used to working with budgets
