THE ROLE

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and implementation of all governance within the Property Function
  • Development of Property Procurement Strategy
  • Development of Transformation Strategy
  • Management of PMO across Property Function
  • Management of Business Continuity Plans for the Property Function
  • Delivery of all required performance metrics, performance reporting and benchmarking
  • Data Analysis; drive portfolio analytics and data strategy, developing and presenting data analytic models to identify trends, patterns and forecasts
  • Design and delivery of SLAs, KPIs, practical and realistic specifications
  • Designing the supplier engagement process
  • Provision of shared service centre to the Property Function
  • Ownership of the Do/Buy
  • Communications
  • JLR Way Process, policy etc
  • Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested from time to time.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience

 

Hard Skills

  • BS/BA degree in a relevant subject (or equivalent work experience) required
  • Significant experience of delivering a seamless integration of remote and in-person work through strategic planning
  • Ability to gain consensus, communicate policy, build relationships and create systems for managing data needed in a timely, and effective manner
  • Experience establishing and implementing effective business processes and procedures, related to corporate real estate
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills demonstrated through clear and concise reports.
  • Expertise in preparing, managing and controlling large scale real estate budgets
  • Expertise in identifying cost saving opportunities
  • Experience in negotiating purchase/service contracts and service agreements.
  • Proficiency in managing contracts with third party service providers
  • Ability to create and present business cases for real estate improvements

  • Ability to work independently and proactively, taking full ownership and responsibility for own work; fully invested in achieving a successful result.

  • Understanding of sustainability initiatives in corporate real estate including energy efficiency measures, waste reduction, carbon footprint management.
