WHAT TO EXPECT

The engineering fleet control team have the overall responsibility for the planning, use and disposal
of circa 1500 vehicles within the engineering function. This includes prototype test vehicles, pool
vehicles, and support vehicles. 

In this role, you will be supporting the day-to-day activities within the Disposals Compound, by
liaising with our internal and external customers to provide a high-quality service and ensure the
smooth running of the operation. 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

•    Document, photograph and evidence preparation of vehicles for disposal and removal of parts
from End-of-Life Vehicles, for resale and recycling
•    Manage stock lists and inventory of parts removed for loose part sale
•    Telehandler & Forklift Truck support for loading and unloading within the disposals compound
•    Driving Tow Car / Trailer to recover vehicles from site
•    Covering for the Disposals Coordinator when out of office

WHAT YOU’LL NEED 

•    Good overall vehicle knowledge 
•    A minimum of Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds or Craftsman Qualification (Automotive Related)
•    A Full UK driving licence
•    Experience in driving forklift trucks & telehandlers would be ideal but training can be given 
•    Experience towing large trailers would also be advantageous
