WHAT TO EXPECT 

 

Data management, within the Procurement Digital & innovation (PD&I) function is responsible for delivery Procurement’s data strategy and governance. In this role you will support the PD&I Data Manager, in the design, management, analysis and engineering of a diverse range of procurement data asset’s using a variety of tools to achieve consistent data management & usage across the organisation.

 

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities: 

 

  • Responsible and accountable for the delivery of procurement data strategies that meet the requirements of JLR Procurement & PD&I which are also compatible within the wider JLR operating framework.    
  • Support in the design & implementation of data governance frameworks - operating models, roles and responsibilities, policies/procedures and key metrics
  • Support in the delivery of data analysis and architecture processes to improve standards with a focus on: Data Lifecycle Management, Data Quality rules & Master Data Management
  • Provide support and assistance to identify interface data errors and ensure that appropriate focus is put on understanding and fixing root cause of any data issues and specific data gaps
  • Assist in data management best practices and governance, as required

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

  • Knowledge and/or experience in data management and data governance best practice.
  • Previous experience of Master Data Management (MDM), Data Analysis and Architecture (ideally focused in a Procurement domain within a manufacturing environment)
  • Previous experience and knowledge of various data management tools.
  • Knowledge & Experience of Procurement data within SAP (S4Hana an advantage).
