KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
- System Development & Integration: You’ll take the lead in creating, developing, and integrating system models that clearly describe and visualise the solutions we build. Your models will play a crucial role in delivering the high-quality, premium customer experiences our products are known for.
- Innovation & Technology Evaluation: As a forward-thinking engineer, you’ll evaluate and apply cutting-edge technologies to the next generation of Driver Assistance and Automation systems. Your ability to adapt and innovate will help set us apart in a rapidly evolving industry.
- Legal and Quality Compliance: Ensuring that all legal and quality activities are completed on time and to the highest standards is a critical responsibility. You’ll work to meet all requirements for safety, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance (FuSa, Cyber, GDPR, FFA, etc.) while maintaining the highest engineering standards.
- Cross-Functional Problem Solving: You’ll be at the center of resolving complex, cross-functional issues across different engineering domains, ensuring that our solutions are robust and reliable. Your expertise will help drive solutions to challenges that require a multi-disciplinary approach.
- Architecture & Feature Development: You’ll support the development of architecture concepts for future features, ensuring they align with the needs of the AAD product portfolio and are well-integrated into our overall strategy.
- Continuous Improvement: The role requires a mindset focused on growth and continuous learning. You’ll actively seek out new ideas, refine your design processes, and adapt to evolving customer and technical requirements. You’ll also stay up-to-date with the latest developments in systems engineering practices and apply them to your work.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Awareness of all aspects of systems engineering: concept design, requirements authoring, logical and solution architecture, quality and legal activities
- Understanding of Functional Safety (ISO-26262), Cyber, GDPR, Quality techniques and ability to solve problems
- Competent requirements author (ideally TRM, or other requirements management tools)
- Driving License
