POSITION: Customer Acceptance Line (CAL) - Quality Lead, Baltimore
RECRUITMENT SALARY RANGE: $92,000 - $115,000

Reporting to the Customer Acceptance Line and Technical Center Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles meet our high standards of quality and safety. Your primary goals will be to maintain all port vehicle inspection and repair activity quality, ensure the operation delivers high quality products to retailers and end customers, and drive for continuous product quality improvement.

- Provide support and training to port processor supplier to ensure vehicle inspections are performed according to JLR standards.
- Conduct inspections of vehicles to identify defects, damage, and non-conformance to standards. This includes performing tests and assessments on vehicle systems, components, and overall performance.
- Maintain high quality standards and provide a course of action to rectify.
- Document and summarize quality issues for reporting to management and port processor supplier.
- Ensure stakeholders are kept up to date on all performance metrics associated with Customer Acceptance Line performance for issue containment actions.
- Provide regular updates to management team and develop strategies to achieve operational efficiency.
- Perform other duties as required
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
Along with your ambition to achieve the exceptional, there are several skills that you’ll need to have to help you succeed here, including:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience;
- Minimum 5 years experience
- Experience in vehicle quality inspection or a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills.
- Knowledge of automotive systems and components.
- Experience with automotive OEM / Industry
- Fluent in Microsoft Office
- Excellent Communication and organizational skills

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized components, including location, skills, experience, and market factors.
