WHAT TO EXPECT
As Regional Performance Manager (RPM), you will be the primary point of contact with our Retailers, acting as a commercial business partner to the retailer Heads of Business & line managers, and supporting the drive for optimum performance in Sales. You will also encourage cross-departmental working with Client Services & Financial Services to ensure all departments are working together.
Focussing on the various sales levers to drive performance, you will ensure JLR processes, policies and systems are fully integrated into Retailer operations to ensure sustainable and repeatable high performance across our Retailer network. You will lead on the implementation of Sales processes & policies, and be supported by the Regional Customer Service Manager (RCSM) in the implementation of Customer Service processes & policies.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Responsible for monitoring and managing retailer sales performance of new cars, approved used, fleet & business and FS targets against quarterly and annual performance targets
- Utilising key data and information to help retailers identify opportunities to improve regional sales,customer service & profit performance
- Working with Retailers to manage the supply of vehicles, & new and used car stock profiles to maximise sales potential
- Responsible for the implementation and embedding of key JLR sales & customer service programmes and initiatives with retailers
- Participate in regular Retailer operational meetings, providing feedback to central JLR functions and support retailers to adhere to JLR’s Corporate Identity and Facility Standards, JLR headcount, training & future capacity planning requirements
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Experience of managing retailer relationships in a collaborative way, with a clear understanding of how JLR’s ambitions & goals manifest commercially in the retailer channel
- Demonstrates a detailed understanding of the key KPIs/performance management systems which support a retailer business to deliver new and used car sales & profit, including accessories, fleet & business and financial services
- Fully conversant with retailer volume planning, wholesaling & wholesale funding
- Pursues delivery against targets & effectively handles under performance and demonstrates a clear understanding of the customer journey and relevant touch points
- Able to influence all stakeholders, balancing the demands of JLR and the retailer, ensuring conflicts are managed successfully
