JOB DESCRIPTION


As Group Leader, you will be leading a small warehouse team, taking a hands-on approach. You will own an electronic work groupcube encompassing all metrics aligned with IPS standards. The Ryton site contains a premium paint facility and a trim and final build hall.

 

Please note that although this role is currently based in Ryton, it will be relocating to Castle Bromwich by the end of this current year ( 2025 ) and that this role operates on a rotating 3 shift system. 

 

WHAT TO EXPECT


You will be leading a small team on a daily basis, assigning tasks, checking progress, escalating issues, liaising with stakeholders
In addition, you will: 


·    Manage the standard cube - Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale, and Environment
·    Support Start of shift and end of shift reviews, complete documentation, and issue reports
 ·   Support audit readiness, internal and external UTAC audits, and the closing out of any NC’s
·    Support Release and Follow Up activities for local commodities
 
WHAT YOU’LL NEED

·    Demonstrate a high level of motivation and resourcefulness, to be able to operate without direction
·    Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
·    Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision when necessary to deliver key objectives
·    Comfortable challenging with strong influencing and engagement skills
·    Competent with Microsoft Office Suite
