WHAT TO EXPECT

 

We are currently hiring for the position of a Demand Planning Analyst to work across our House of Brands & Regional Product Teams. The role will entail coordinating derivative and feature mix plans for Vehicles and Accessory sales. This is a great chance for an individual with an analytical mindset and a background in demand planning and project leadership to impact our brand and product strategy. The overall aim of this role is to act as the centre point when talking to markets, gaining their feedback, and enabling accurate and optimized supply management of vehicle components, and you will have exposure to a wide range of stakeholders within JLR working across several business areas.

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

 

  • Using analysis skillset, develop the forecasting process for JLR, critically assessing vehicle and accessory mix plans from internal historical data and external market inputs to generate an accurate forecast.

  • Work with both House of Brands and Regional Product Teams to create centrally assessed derivative and feature mix plans.

  • Lead the analysis and optimization of market inputs to deliver an approved market equation for each vehicle programme and model year.

  • Analyse and simplify large data sets (Model/Market/Engine/Trim/Option/Accessory) to determine recommendations to the business.

  • Deliver and cascade plans, liaising with Supply Chain and Inventory teams on supplier commitments.

 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

 

In order to be considered for this role, you will ideally need to have experience within Demand Planning. This is a brilliant chance for an individual with an analytical mindset with a background in planning and project management, and as such we require someone with a strong practical knowledge of Microsoft Excel, due to the nature of the job requirements. If you come from an automotive or finance background, this will be beneficial to you, however it is not something we would classify as essential.

 

  • A strong analytical mindset, experienced in interpreting business data, forecasting, and delivering to stakeholders.

  • An innovative and creative problem solver who can lead and drive Transformation projects to close.

  • Strong and proven organisational and action tracking abilities, coupled with a willingness to engage with functions in and beyond Commercial.

  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint and a proven ability to work with multiple data sources and interrogate them to provide valuable insights and analysis to stakeholders.
