Key Accountabilities and Responsiilities:

  • Understand business needs and how to drive data & analytics appreciation, literacy and adoption to benefit the updated and ROI in the business
  • Plan and execute enterprise-level strategy to drive data enablement under the guidance of the Chief Data Officer
  • Lead targeted and larger scale Data transformation initiatives including developing and deploying new processes and complex content creation
  • In large scale programmes, roll-out and embed new technology into business e.g. Tableau, working closely with the business, IT and OGC to design and implement an operating model that maximises uptake and returns whilst minimising risk, including:
  • Design, select and maintain analytics platforms to support DA solutions
  • Work with the spokes and business to understand technology needs

Build a view and maintain gap analysis for data & analytics capability for Data Office, data professionals in IT and business and the broader JLR business/field populations)




  • Previous experience in advocating data tooling and ways of working
  • Previous experience in developing data communities or user forums and developing data skills in others
  • Excellent level of ability to structure, analyse/ interpret data
  • Excellent communicator and passionate advocate of data culture
  • High level of IT literacy and desire to continue to learn new data tools and skills
  • Proven track record of translating business requirements and needs into prioritised data requirements
