WHAT TO EXPECT

 

We are delighted to advise of two opportunities with Jaguar Land Rover to act as Critical Concerns Managers.  One to lead a team of Engineers, focusing on the product engineering investigations, ensuring robust investigation data is available in a timely manner and facilitate the investigation framework for progression CC cases; the other to lead manufacturing supplier investigations, ensuring robust investigation data is available to facilitate the investigation framework to progress critical concern cases.


Accountabilities / Responsibilities

 

Critical Concerns Manager – Product Engineering

  • Jointly, with the broader Critical Concerns’ Team, lead and manage in the methodical and robust progression of Critical Concern investigations, producing accurate records and working cross-functionally to drive prompt resolution by supporting departments
  • Develop and maintain a close working relationship with Engineering representatives to ensure new model development plans take in to account learning from current model issues
  • Ensure data robustness in incoming critical concern cases and Critical Concerns Engineers data analysis, prepare deep dive data for departmental monitoring 
  • Represent the Global Critical Concerns department internally, and externally, to Jaguar Land Rover
  • Foster a team culture that is supportive of considers peoples wellbeing

 

Critical Concerns Manager - Manufacturing and Supplier Manager

 

  • Jointly, with the broader Critical Concerns’ Team, lead and manage in the methodical and robust progression of Critical Concern investigations, producing accurate records and working cross-functionally to drive prompt resolution by supporting departments
  • Develop and maintain a close working relationship with Manufacturing and Supplier representatives to ensure new model development plans take into account learning from current model issues
  • Ensure data robustness in incoming critical concern cases and critical concerns engineers data analysis, prepare deep dive data for departmental monitoring 
  • Represent the Global Critical Concerns department internally, and externally, to Jaguar Land Rover
  • Foster a team culture that is supportive of considers peoples wellbeing

 

Skills & Qualifications

 

  • Educated to degree level, in an engineering or appropriate science discipline
  • Evidence of excellence in team leadership, interpersonal skills and ability to present and articulate a clear point of view at all levels within the business
  • Proficient in problem solving, analysis of data using Microsoft Excel, Minitab, 6 Sigma Green or Black qualified
  • Able to draw on own initiative to achieve objectives
  • Previous Engineering delivery experience
  • Statistical Analysis being proficient in warranty and quality management systems
  • Vehicle systems integration, functionality, diagnostic or Telematics knowledge


Desirable:

  • Experience of Product Liability legislation and careful communication and able to coach others
