THE ROLE


Reporting into the Product Manager, the Jaguar Product Marketing Analyst is an exciting high-profile role at the heart of delivering the next generation of Jaguar electric vehicles. The successful candidate will be supporting the commercial deliverables which include, the revenue strategy, product specifications, whole life action plans, special editions, volume and market / regional variations. Liaising closely with many critical stakeholders across the organisation. As a team we are the product experts within the organisation and need to know how to cascade all aspects of the product to our internal and external customers.

 

This wide-ranging role interacts with many different departments, including the Regional National Sales Companies (NSC’s), Global Pricing and Programme Finance, Product Development, Programme Engineering, Design, Manufacturing Launch, Market Research, Retailer Training and Marketing and PR Communications teams. 

 

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

 

  • The product specification and revenue strategy for future Jaguar car line. Brand-led and customer focussed
  • Liaise with internal stake holders and regional market leads to create a Single Order Card which will include data from brand strategy, market research, quality studies, competitive positioning and customer inputs
  • Define the customer offer – vehicle specifications (OXO) – to maximise customer satisfaction and profitability, minimising complexity of customer offer that can support an e-commerce online retail strategy
  • Manage and maintain inputs into the whole life planning process using customer and industry data, competitor benchmarking, and working with Design and Product teams to ensure maximum impact
  • Support the delivery of the pricing papers to maximise market equation by region, working closely with regional teams, pricing team and financial services (residual values)
  • Work with Customer Insights team to deliver market research plans to support key gateways 
  • Create a Product Brief and publish to regional teams, brand communications and retailer training teams, and sign-off all launch materials for accuracy. Be the product expert for specification and useability of features / technology.
  • Act as a contact for the regional teams and for brand communications teams on product queries
  • Work closely with design, brand communications, product engineering and customer services teams
     

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Essential:
●    A passion for self-development and continuous improvement
●    Previous experience of working with a programme management focus
●    Competency with MS Office suite (especially Excel and .ppt)
●    Strong task / process planning skills
●    Strong financial acumen

●    An individual with a customer first mindset who is easy to do business with and makes people feel special
●    An individual with the ability to deliver in a complex, highly demanding environment. 
●    An individual with the ability to combine a short term, pragmatic focus with longer term planning
●    An individual who is resilient, energetic and enthusiastic and able to deliver results under pressure
●    An individual who is able to challenge existing thinking in a positive way whilst building credibility and trust
●    A good communicator and effective team member

 

Desirable:

●    Previous experience of translating brand and customer insight into product requirements
●    Previous experience of working in the luxury sector
●    Previous experience of working in the automotive sector
●    Previous experience of product lifecycle planning and consumer insight research
●    Previous experience in a creative role
●    Knowledge of the expected future automotive landscape (EV’s, sustainability, subscription models)
●    Relevant degree or equivalent experience

●    An individual who enables speed in decision making through establishing alignment, clarity, appropriate resources
●    An eye for detail and a passion for cars
