As part of this brand led turnaround, we are seeking an exceptional individual, able to blend strategic planning, operational excellence, customer experience and a highly driven mindset to help shape and execute our future strategy. Reporting to the Mobility Services Manager, the Mobility Services Product Owner role sits within a new Services & Experiences team and has responsibility for bringing to market mobility solutions that deliver on the product vision, enabling new customers to access the brand in a non-traditional way, through Car Subscription, Rental and Chauffeur solutions. The role provides a unique opportunity to be at the heart of our transformation.
 

This role combines both operational and strategic activity requiring a broad skillset and dynamic, highly motivated individual. Activities range from understanding the global vehicle mobility landscape, including both products and supplier/partners, defining the customer experience and business processes to deliver the highest levels of loyalty, developing and presenting business cases, as well as supporting day to day operational and governance activities.
 

The candidate must have the ability to understand the wide-ranging strategic requirements for our future business, create practical solutions and use initiative to solve day to day problems efficiently and implement new processes. In doing so this role will have an influence over future revenues, volume growth and customer loyalty, the candidate will form an integral part of the organisation.
 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for understanding and benchmarking the global vehicle mobility services landscape
  • Responsible for the identification of future trends and competitor analysis that impact our customer offering and value proposition
  • Responsible for development of mobility products, including the propositions and business cases which deliver contribution
  • Responsible for managing product roadmaps - developing features and capabilities that deliver on the product strategy.
  • Accountable for programme management, roll out and activation across the agreed markets for each product, through local operations managers
  • Responsible for the articulation and documentation of the required product customer experience
  • Responsible for the documentation of key business processes
  • Accountable for the commercial and loyalty objectives for the products
  • Creation of management reports and KPI tracking of programme progress
  • Responsible for developing, maintaining and reporting on the mobility services objectives and key results
  • Responsible for commercial analysis of the products and value chain to identify efficiency improvements
  • Responsible for working with internal stakeholders to align and manage disconnects between strategy and execution

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Essential:

  • Product management experience in Vehicle Mobility Services – Subscription, Rental, Chauffeur
  • Track record of taking products from conception through to market.
  • Excellent communication and demonstrable senior stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical skills able to use data to drive analysis and results
  • Reporting and Presentation experience
  • Understanding of automotive industry and retail operations
  • Confident Microsoft Office software user
  • Experience of reporting to Board Level / C-Suite stakeholders
  • Educated to degree level or above

Desirable:

  • Ability to articulate complex financial analysis in a succinct, digestible manner
  • Understanding of Agile principles
  • Experience of managing cross functional programmes
  • Project Management experience
