JOB TITLE: Communication Officer (Paternity cover))
SALARY: Base salary 1283€ per month, depending on your experience and skills, yearly bonus 0-15% (paid year)

The Communications officer role is dedicated to delivering consistent, quality and timely communications using a variety of communications channels. The role requires the establishment of strong working relationships across all levels of the plant and the ability to influence and help inform the development of the communications strategy and offering.



Internal communications

  • Support in the development and roll-out of an effective internal communication strategy for the manufacturing plant.
  • Delivery of all written, film and photography assets to support planned and reactive plant communications: Team Talk Monthly, People Talk, Bulk mail, employee briefs, Noticeboards.
  • Co-ordination of employee communication and engagement activities: Milestone events, Town Halls, new model launches, tactical plant campaigns.
  • Coordinate VIP visits and other third party activities.
  • Manage process of auditing the impact of communications and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop opportunities to enhance and improve existing communications channels.
  • Support the central internal communications team in the development of an all employee communications strategy.
  • Management of local social media channels – Twitter, Facebook & Instagram



  • Implement the community relations and CSR programmes to support the Nitra plant, aligned with the global community relations and CSR strategy. 
  • Delivery of community sponsored events and awards, community relations volunteering programmes, education initiatives.
  • Delivery of global CSR STEM initiatives/programmes. 
  • Develop links with local communities



  • Excellent communication skills – both spoken and written
  • Experience and track record in strategic communication to multiple audiences.
  • Commercially astute – used to working in a business environment
  • Able to negotiate and influence at a senior level within the organisation
  • Strong ability to organise self, and prioritise workload in order to meet tight deadlines
  • A good level of IT competence is required in programmes such as Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Experienced in events management 
  • Photography and videography skills
  • 3+ years internal communications experience
  • Managing sensitive communications issues
