POSITION: Warranty Data Analyst Intern

LOCATION: Mahwah, NJ

SALARY: $18/hour

 Jaguar Land Rover North America’s internship program is a great opportunity for college students entering their junior or senior year, or who are currently in a graduate school program, to gain hands-on experience in the exciting world of the automotive industry!  This is a great opportunity for personal growth and development from a business and learning perspective.

 

In this internship, you will support key projects and initiatives related to Warranty Operations, specifically analyzing datasets used to approve Warranty Labor Rates and Parts Markup Percentage. You will work in a small high performing team supporting over 200 retailers in the US and Canada. By the end of the internship, you will have direct experience in the warranty operations area, warranty data processing, and related industry regulations and statutes.

 

 Details of the program:

  • The program is open to students at a Junior or Senior level in their Bachelor’s Degree program or a Graduate Program
  • The Internship runs from June 16, 2025 to May 22, 2026
  • 25-29 hours per week during business hours (Business Hours: Monday- Friday 8:30am-5:00pm)
  • Hybrid Schedule available  

WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • Maintain and update the Warranty Labor Rates and Parts Markup increase requests
  • Learn the parameters and eligibility of the rate increase cycles
  • Research repair orders and supporting documents provided by retailers to determine their eligibility
  • Gain deep insight on automative industry warranty best practices and applicable state laws
  • Support and lead projects and tasks related to labor rate and warranty cost impact
  • Collaborate with the Senior Data Analyst and support them in meeting strict deadlines
  • Participate in retailers facing engagement forums such as the Warranty Administrators Conference Calls
  • Perform other duties as required.

 

 WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • The successful candidate must be currently enrolled in a business, engineering, data sciences, or similar college academic program for 2025/26 (either a junior, senior, or graduate student)
  • Passion to work with large volume of data
  • Ability to multi task and prioritize requests
  • Advanced proficiency in data processing such as MS. Excel
  • Natural problem solver and ability to derive solutions to technical issues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Technical, Dedicated, Committed, Curious, Team player, Driven
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States
