WHAT TO EXPECT

We need to ensure product is delivered robustly, via Product Creation & Delivery System (PCDS) or via AGILE work streams. The release team are responsible for quality assuring priority software releases, providing collective performance feedback, issue risk assessments and supporting sign off reviews by:
- Identifying and managing product risk throughout the product release phase of the life cycle.
- Integration within engineering systems teams to guide and support best practice and be a voice for the customer
- Clear reporting of the quality recommendations against engineering activity
- Working cross functionally with programme management, engineering, purchasing, customer service and vehicle programme teams
- Support software pack evaluation as part of SUMS (Software Update Management System – UNECE 156) and provide customer representative feedback to the product teams and into pack governance
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
- Manage risks for assigned product groups / domain software during release phases
- Liaise with software and system engineering release teams to align priorities to ensure clean running capability
- Support software pack evaluation and provide customer representative feedback to the product teams
- Escalation and reporting of issues into programme / management teams
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Demonstrative knowledge of engineering processes
- Experience in delivery of complex projects / systems across a wide range of stakeholders to deliver objectives to demanding timelines
- Good understanding of Product Creation & Delivery System (PCDS) or a similar product delivery process
- Good understanding problem solving techniques and issue management
- Ability to be able to present complex information in a audience appropriate manner
