WHAT TO EXPECT


A Sales Excellence Specialist is a specialist resource, to be called upon to provide expertise to individual Retailers over a (potentially) prolonged period.
Your purpose is to improve performance issues identified by the Regional Business Manager and associated Sales KPIs. You’ll also responds to briefs raised by the Regional Business Manager. 


These are centred on improving Sales processes within a Retailer to drive performance. For example, driving customer satisfaction and improving Lead Management processes this includes driving new ways of working and the ability for Retailers to adapt and change to an ever-evolving industry.


You’ll also be responsible for:
- Demonstrable performance improvement following intervention - in both JLR and Retailer metrics e.g:
•    Retailer Lead Management.  
•    Retailer competency.
•    Retailer NPS/Sales 6 scores - root cause analysis and action plans.
•    Retailer Profitability (Key sales operating metrics).
•    Finance Retention
- Sustained performance improvement trends of Retailer metrics following intervention (once Sales Excellence Specialist “hands” the Retailer back to Regional Business Manager).

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED


You’ll join us with proven track record of successfully implementing Sales processes at Retailer level e.g. previous role as a Regional Business Manager or experience gained in a Retailer focussed Sales function.


Naturally, you’ll have an understanding of Retailer profitability drivers and the ability to utilise Retailer Composite to identify key opportunities for improvement.

 

You’ll also have experience of:
•    Facilitation and coaching experience to engage and support the Retailer
•    Implementing and embedding change at Retailers - managing multiple stakeholders’ interests to ensure multiple benefits.
•    Driving sustainable excellence within the identified Retailers:
-    Commitment to progression and completion of Learner Journeys within the Retailer.
-    Implementation of robust and effective induction and retention programmes.  
•    Writing comprehensive action plans aligned to a SMART ethos.
•    Operating Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint at an advanced level.
