WHAT TO EXPECT

 

You will be responsible for the technical management of complex electrification electronic system requirements (automotive power electronic component with high levels of integration and high functional safety requirements). Responsible and Accountable for the project specifc definition, change management, tracking and alignment of electrification electronic project requirements. Also, responsible and accountable for the requirement process adherence. Ensures coordination and alignment of key requirement stakeholders, such as internal subject matter experts, core engineers as well as stakeholders such as different system teams and external stakeholders such as relevant project suppliers.

 

Key Responsibilities:

•    Responsible for identifying project relevant commodity requirements out of vehicle system requirements (power supply system, vehicle functional safety system, electrical architecture system, powertrain system)
•    Responsible for gathering and analysing all requirements systematically to a qualitative system engineering process, structure and standard.
•    Responsible for supporting and developing a consistent requirements management process
•    Responsible for the evaluation, refinement and development of functional project commodity requirements
•    Responsible for the evaluation, refinement and development of non-functional project commodity requirements
•    Responsible for the prioritisation of project commodity requirements
•    Responsible for planning and executing requirement reviews in alignment to key project milestone points, especially with external project relevant suppliers
•    Responsible for the release, maintance and management of requirement baselines and metrics
•    Accountable for supporting validation test coverage across the requirement set in coordination with the validation and verification team

 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

 

Essential:
•    Degree level qualification in technical management, electrical/electronics engineering, mechatronics or similiar
•    Experience of requirements engineering
•    C – 3+ year of delivering technical product requirements and specifications in an automotive / aerospace industry
•    Awarness and experience in functional failure mode avoidance processes

 

Desirable:
•    Experience in the IBM Rational DOORs requirements toolset
•    Experience in Electrification
•    Convincing skill in supplier discussion
•    Experience in ISO26262 Functional Safety standard and it’s application to requirements management
