WHAT TO EXPECT


This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Learning Academy Deployment team as the Learning Deployment Consultant – A-D. You’ll be responsible for the delivery and facilitation of colleague development programmes and content developed by the Corporate Capability and Leadership Academy Lead and their team.
 
This covers a broad range of skill development for colleagues across the organisation, including both transactional and behavioural elements aimed at developing colleagues in individual contributor roles.  You’ll be working across a broad spectrum of delivery methods including the hosting of webinars, collating resources for micro learning journeys, management of learning communities within SAP JAM and delivery and facilitation of classroom and workshop based sessions. 
  
You’ll collaborate with the Academy Lead and their team who provide strategic direction based on research and best practice, benchmarking and adapting the learning offer to respond to business needs, therefore contributing to the increase of engagement and performance of future Jaguar Land Rover leaders and managers to strengthen the workforce talent and pipelines for the future.

 

Your key responsibilities will be to facilitate the sharing of good practice across and colleague development workshops, curation of online development resources in the behavioural space, digital content sustainment, pilot new classroom and digital learning solutions to ensure the intervention meets stakeholder and organisational requirements, and working with the Senior Learning Deployment Consultant to manage the portfolio of learning content and materials (e.g. face to face courses, online learning modules, digital solutions, blended learning and evaluation) ensuring agreed standards are maintained.

 

You’ll also contribute to the design and creation of learning and development materials that support colleagues to deliver JLR’s strategic objectives including digital development, facilitate a virtual classroom via WebEx /webinar, whilst keeping up to date with current thinking in the professional learning and development space and implement when facilitating communities of practice.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

As the Learning Deployment Consultant you’ll need experience working in a similar role in behavioural/skill development design and/or delivery with a premium brand, experience of managing blended learning solutions, knowledge in Learning and Development methodologies (e.g. competencies, adult learning principles), and a strong working knowledge and application of 70/20/10 development.

 

Ideally you’ll have experience of working with service suppliers, knowledge in Engineering or Manufacturing training needs, and hold a certificate in Training Practice or to be CIPD qualified.

 

You’ll also need to be competent in MS Office software packages.
