WHAT TO EXPECT


Three new opportunity has arisen for an experience Inventory Analyst to join our team. The Inventory Management Team holds a critical responsibility within the wider Supply Chain Management function, to ensure we’re holding the right product, in the right place, in order to meet customer demand across over 20 global warehouses, for our two prestigious brands.
 
As the Inventory Analyst you’ll be responsible for ensuring that our new inventory system is set up to deliver the service level that is required.


Supporting our Parts 2020 Transformation Programme to scale both our business and IT operations for expected future growth, we are looking for an Inventory Analyst to support in shape business processes, to perform complex data analysis, define system parameters & validate the output is in line with our Business goal: to ensure we maintain our excellent service levels whilst balancing with our inventory targets.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Providing System and Control subject matter expertise to the IM projects within Parts 2020 
  • Ensuring that the system is set up appropriately to support two masters, multiple entry points and all control parameters are identified and set effectively.
  • Work in collaboration with stakeholders, define the business transformation scope & requirements for System and Control
  • Creating and maintaining a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities throughout the System and Control process – incl process mapping, UAT testing, data verification and migration
  • Ensuring that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and to the agreed specification
  • Identifying, tracking and managing Issues and Risks and where necessary escalate to ensure minimal impact to quality, budget and timeline

  
WHAT YOU’LL NEED


You’ll join us with the ability to manage own priorities, work independently and take initiative, whilst maintaining transparency and following escalation processes / taking direction where required.


You’ll also have excellent analytical skills to execute root cause analysis on complex data, with ability to identify how one issue can impact on another and put in place the required interventions through support, or from own knowledge base.


Naturally you’ll have excellent communication skills as you’ll be presenting complex data and issues to a varied audience, including acting as ‘translator’ between IT & Business.
 
You’ll also have:

  • Strong analytical and statistical skills. Able to construct, manipulate and interpret complex data, and to make recommendations on this analysis.
  • An understanding of MS Excel, Access and PowerPoint is essential.
  • SAP user, experienced in testing and implementations
  • Exposure to planning, leading and implementing projects
  • Experience of developing inventory strategies to deliver Customer Service and Financial targets.
  • Working experience of Inventory Classification, inventory forecasting, stocking level strategies, EOQ planning, safety stock planning
