JOB TITLE: Cyber Security Operation Manager

SALARY: £60,000 - £70,000

LOCATION: Wellesbourne

WHAT TO EXPECT

 

As a global brand, we’re boosting our investment in our Security Operations Centre and you’ll be at the heart of our growth by leading our security team. As the Cyber Security Operations Manager you’ll be responsible for leading a Cyber Security Operation function to manage security risks according to the JLR risk appetite. You’ll lead and define the Cyber SOC strategy, future vision and execution plan based on the business demand, by planning, directing and controlling the SOC functions and operations.

 

In your new role as Cyber Security Operation Centre Manager, you’ll use your strong external stakeholder management skills, coordinating and cooperating with externally sourced security service providers. You’ll be directing security event monitoring, management and response cyber threat as well as ensuring effective incident identification, assessment, quantification, reporting, communication, mitigation and monitoring.

 

You’ll report into Chief Information Security Officer, working closely with the Cyber Security Program Manager and the Head of ICS GRC and leading a team of Security Analyst’s.

 

As we continue to expand across the world, you’ll continue to expand as part of this growing department. In addition you’ll, have the opportunity to progress and gain wider view of the vehicle design and assembly covering all architectures.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

Alongside strong IT skills, you’ll be able to analyse data for reporting purposes and follow work instructions. Your experience with security platforms including IAM, DLP, SIEM, WAF, EEP, EDR, DAM will be essential to the position.

 

You’ll have an excellent understanding & experience of management of Cyber Information Security Incidents, Risk & Vulnerabilities as well as proven experience in security incident handling, vulnerability management and threat hunting.

 

To achieve success in your new role, you’ll have qualifications in CISSP / CISM or other security qualifications. Hands on experience in managing and creating a SOC in previous positions is highly desirable.
