JOB TITLE: Business Analyst Inventory Planning & Supply UK RDC
SALARY: £40,600 - £48,000 (DOE)

WHAT TO EXPECT

 

We are now looking for a System Implementation Business Lead who holds subject matter expertise in Customer Service processes, with a broader appreciation of Project management principles to join our team.

The candidate will focus predominantly on the SAP ECC (ERP Central Component) system & RPOS (Retailers Parts Ordering System) portal, responsible for implementing and deploying the new customer services processes that will support and integrate with JLR operations. The role focuses heavily on embedding and transitioning of the new solution and to our JLR and 3PLs Business Teams.


Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Being a System Implementation Lead across multiple work packages, you will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of detailed work plans which identify, and sequence required activities, owners and delivery dates throughout the Project lifecycle.
  • In collaboration with our stakeholders, lead the business transformation scope and requirements in line with our roll out plan
  • Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and to the agreed specification
  • Act as lead in meetings to ensure full representation on key issues
  • Provide Inventory Management, Supply Management and Supply Chain subject matter expertise to the immediate team as well as the wider Mercia Programme, acting as main point of contact for the team
  • Work cross functionally to ensure robust and effective processes are developed for the Inventory Management and Supply Management function, considering relevant integration with key department’s i.e.  Warehouse Operations, Customer Service, Finance, Pricing, etc.
  • In collaboration with our stakeholders, lead the business transformation scope and requirements, define our strategy and deliver change in line with our Target Operating Model
  • Establish positive working relationships across multiple functions both internally and externally to ensure collaborative approach in achieving desired improvement
  • Collate information for management reports as required
  • Establish positive and collaborative relationships with our various Stakeholders and be a trusted advisor to them, supporting their transition needs to develop & embedded robust and effective processes
  • Support the BAU team with transition of services from project life cycle into business as usual


WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

  • A strong working knowledge of a Inventory Management Operations and key areas within the supply chain & logistics business
  • A strong working knowledge of ECC, SPP and SNC SAP solutions, as well as EDI and systems integration
  • Must be able to manage own priorities, work independently & take initiative, whilst maintaining transparency and following escalation processes / taking direction where required
  • Have strong analytical skills to:
  • execute root cause analysis on complex data
  • identify how one issue can impact on another and put in place the required interventions through support, or from own knowledge base
  • effectively present this complex data & issues to a varied audience, including senior stakeholders
  • act as ‘translator’ between IT & Business
  • Adaptable to a rapidly evolving and fast-paced environment whilst displaying positivity, agility and resilience
  • Well organised and process orientated with great attention to detail
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to hold self and others accountable
  • Consistently demonstrates Customer First Principles
  • Confident communicator and an outgoing nature
  • Strong working knowledge of Automotive Aftermarket Customer Service processes
  • Knowledge of the wider JLR Aftermarket parts business and functions
  • Confident communicator and an outgoing nature
  • Knowledge of SAP (ECC)
