JOB TITLE: Scrum Master

As Scrum Master, you will facilitate and support Agile practices, Scrum ceremonies both in the squads and at scale (SAFe framework), and Kanban working methods on demand ensuring at all times that sprint velocity and PI objectives are in line with Product Management expectations.

Working closely with Product Owners, the successful candidate will work in a highly collaborative environment to understand and enable key Global Software Program deliverables across JLR’s Global Digital Development centres.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Excellent communication skills as you will be required to interact with multiple and diverse stakeholders in an international work environment
  • Establish/Facilitate/Participate in key agile ceremonies across co-located & virtual teams.
  • Flexible with a practical, servant leader mind-set. Ability to challenge the status quo whilst not impacting deliverables
  • Identification of team related blockers and impediments and mitigations of escalation process into a scaled agile dependency tracker
  • Ensure alignment across all workstreams feeding into the scaled agile framework-based engineering programs.
  • Support management in the development, implementation & adherence of agile project management processes.




  • Extensive experience of Agile framework with emphasis on Scrum. Knowledge of Kanban methodology is an advantage.
  • Experience with supporting backlog management and product owners in tools such as Confluence & JIRA.
  • Experience in working across the full life cycle of software development and awareness of SDLC automation Tools.
  • Ability to support scrum teams across diverse platforms and an ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility and focus on value creation and workoutcomes
  • Certified Scrum Master (e.g. CSM/SAFe). PMP accreditation would also be desirable
  • Strong oral and written communication
