WHAT TO EXPECT
As Scrum Master, you will facilitate and support Agile and Scrum ceremonies/practices, ensuring at all times that sprint velocity and PI objectives are in line with Product Management expectations.
Working closely with Product Owners, the successful candidate will work in a highly collaborative environment to understand and enable key Global Software Program deliverables across JLR’s Global Digital Development centres.
Key Responsibilities:
- Excellent communication skills as you will be required to interact with multiple and diverse stakeholders as well as provide status on a regular basis to all stakeholders.
- Establish/Facilitate/Participate in key agile ceremonies across co-located & virtual teams.
- Flexible with a practical, servant mind-set. Ability to challenge the status quo whilst not impacting deliverables
- Identification and management of project risks and mitigations to timely remediation.
- Ensure alignment across all workstreams feeding into the relevant SW engineering programs.
- Support management in the development, implementation & adherence of agile project management processes.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Extensive experience of relevant Agile Software Project Management.
- Experience of managing projects & backlogs in tools such as Confluence & JIRA.
- Experience in working across the full life cycle of software development and awareness of SDLC automation Tools.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum/DevOps methodologies.
- Ability to manage projects across diverse teams and an ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility and focus on results/outcomes
- Certified Scrum Master (e.g. CSM/SAFe). PMP accreditation would also be desirable.
- Strong oral and written communication.
