JOB TITLE: LabView Developer for Assisted and Automated Driving V&V
LOCATION: Budapest


As the Assisted & Automated Driving V&V Enabler team we are responsible for the HW & SW tools used for the verification and validation of the next generation ADAS and ADS features and functions. Definition, design, development, deployment, and support of all HW&SW Engineering tools is required to ensure our customers receive world class products. We are currently embarking on a major transformation aimed to keep JLR at the forefront of the automotive industry. As we progress on this journey, we are currently looking to expand our team with talented and motivated developers and engineers that will help us equip the business with the world class tools needed to engineer our vehicles. You will be joining one of our agile squads as a developer, working closely with your teammates and customers to deliver working capability at pace.




  • You will architect, develop, and implement hardware and software interfaces to interact with Assisted & Automated Driving systems and sensors: In-vehicle networks, ECU specific networks, Lidar, Radar, High Resolution & High Dynamic Range Cameras, and Inertial Navigation Systems.
  • You will contribute to data acquisition systems definition: road map, strategy, and architecture.
  • You will contribute to data acquisition systems design, development, and deployment.
  • You will work closely with different multi-disciplinary squads: Ground Truth, Measurement Technique, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, and Hardware-In-the-Loop to define and deploy synergies between systems and solutions across our product validation ecosystem.
  • You will develop and deliver technical documentation, user manuals and training to our internal customers. 
  • You will work closely with the wider Assisted and Automated Driving V&V area to ensure integration and scalability of our solution. 
  • You will support issues resolution effectively and efficiently.
  • You will ensure safe operational conditions of data acquisition systems in prototype and production vehicles.



  • A degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
  • You will have strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Solid knowledge of data acquisition and measurement technology fundamentals.
  • LabVIEW software architecture and development working experience.
  • Experience of designing and working with National Instruments based data acquisition systems (NI CRIO, NI PXI, FPGA) using software source-control (Git).
  • A general and practical understanding of vehicle systems, especially electrical and electronic.
  • Experience working with test procedures/verification methods.
  • To be able to be an effective team member and support the growth of your peers.
  • A full valid driving licence, with the desire of being trained to higher driving safety standards

It will be considered as a bonus: 

  • National Instruments certified LabVIEW Developer or LabVIEW Architect badges.
  • C++ and/or Python software development with experience in CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience in developing high data throughput acquisition systems.
  • Electronic Systems development experience (hardware and software).
  • ISTQB certification.
