JOB TITLE: EDS Project development Engineer

WHAT TO EXPECT

You will be part of a team managing the development and delivery of Electrical Distribution Systems (Wiring) for new vehicles.

• Project management of the development and delivery of complex wiring.

• Liaison across teams in different countries and working with suppliers. 

• Working to tight timelines, with complex data and numerous interfaces. 

• Developing automotive (or similar) wiring and connector systems (EDS) e.g. change management, schematic design, problem management, design reviews, 3D CAD, FMEA, requirements management, validation, 2D drawing creation

• Interfacing and collaborating across functions, countries and working with suppliers. 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

As well as having passion for our world class products, you have:

• MUST HAVE:  Knowledge of wiring and connector systems

• Experience in automotive industry and Engineering degree

• Strong project management skills

• Understanding of the typical processes and tools used for automotive wiring development 

• Fluent English knowledge

• Excellent communication skills
