WHAT TO EXPECT
Based within the Assisted and Automated Driving (AAD) Validation and Verification Team, you’ll be responsible for the specification, test case automation and software which forms the MBPE Level 4 Hardware in the Loop (HIL) test rigs enabling the verification and validation of features in the Cruise, Active Safety, Parking and Manoeuvring, and Vision domains. Your focus will be to lead the activities for Test Case Automation. You’ll also be responsible for gathering systems and feature level requirements to cascade into MBPE Level 4 Hardware in the Loop (HIL) automated testing deployment, gathering stakeholder requirements, preparing and presenting HIL test coverage metrics. With your expertise and insights, you’ll implement the test cases, methods and scripts (automated and manual) from the system and software requirements, and gain concurrence from system and sub-system requirement owners. You’ll carry out and conduct the Test Cases and plan automated tests on rigs. You’ll play a key role in test case automation/execution in Automation desk and develop a good understanding of scenario creation in Model desk and Motion desk.
You’ll create the HIL system and vehicle simulation environments (hardware and software) and model in alignment with functional requirements, using model based engineering approach. We will provide an open environment to explore ideas and collaborate. WHAT YOU’LL NEED
As well as having passion for our world class products, you’ll have experience with dSapce tools like Automation Desk, Control Desk, Model Desk, Motion Desk as well as being proficient in Systems/Software testing and methodologies.

You’ll need to have a good understanding of Systems Engineering “V-Model” specifically requirements based testing, design verification and validation.
You’ll also have good knowledge of Validation and Verification on HIL Rig, XML or JSON, scripting in Python.
You’ll be organized, structured and pro-active in doing day to day work with the ability to understand and manage complex issues as well as strong communication skills.
You’ll be educated to degree level in within a relevant subject.
