Our graduate opportunities offer the perfect blend of personal and professional development. Network with other graduates, build relationships across the entire business, and watch your career grow. To make sure your programme is dynamic and engaging, we have a dedicated graduate development team, who will be working to design, update and develop a range of learning experiences for you.

Some of these will build up your technical expertise and enable you to perform confidently in your business area and role. Others will prepare you for your career after the scheme ends. You’ll also take part in training to help you understand yourself, others, and gain insight into our business. From the start, we’ll provide you with support specifically tailored to your role.

Our programmes


A two-year course that sharpens your skills by combining on-the-job and classroom training. You’ll become certified in the latest analytics tools in your first year, while working with teams across the business on real projects and transformational programmes. Your second will go into even greater depth, developing you in one of four specialisms (Data Analytics, Data Engineer, Data Scientist, Programme/Project Management). You’ll also go on secondment and mentor new graduates.

Any degree is acceptable for this programme.

Information Technology

Every day, we experiment with new technologies. Transformation is a continuous process, so our IT projects will always evolve and engage you. You’ll experience everything from Business Partnering and IT Architecture to Information Security, Technology Solutions and Functional Support. This is an immersive role in which you can really make an impact.

Degree requirements include IT or Computer Science.

Supplier Technical Assistance

Supplier Technical Assistance (STA) works as a key link between the suppliers of components for our cars, anything from wheels to windscreens, and the rest of the business. Within STA your aim will be to drive manufacturing excellence into this supply base by working with suppliers and other key stakeholders within areas of the organisation. Problem solving and using your manufacturing expertise will be vital to assist in producing parts to the required quality and volume.

Within STA there are a number of varied roles spanning the whole lifetime of a vehicle programme from support for new vehicle launches through to warranty for customers’ cars, including the opportunity to work on fan favourites and Special Vehicle Operations. You could find yourself moving from supporting vehicle audits in-plant to managing critical suppliers and reporting out at a senior level.

Degree requirements include Engineering, Material Science, Manufacturing and STEM.

These programmes are now closed for our 2020 intake, information will be available from October in regards to our 2021 intake.


To be eligible for our graduate programmes, you need to have obtained or be on track for a 2:2 degree qualification. Additionally, please make only one application for our graduate programmes. Your starting salary will be £29,000, with a £2,000 joining bonus. Our benefits package includes:

During the Graduate Programme, you’ll need to become a member of a relevant Chartered or Professional Institute. This is based on your business area and for this, additional qualifications may be required. Jaguar Land Rover will support you in this, but we ask that you sign a learning contract.

If you choose to leave the Programme while completing the qualification, or the business within two years of obtaining it, you will be liable to repay the costs undertaken by the Company in supporting you through the qualification.

This is where apprentices, graduates and undergraduates all get together to talk about the challenges we are working on and share hints and tips. It’s a brilliant networking opportunity and a great way to build your knowledge and career.

The induction day really set the tone for what it’s like to work here. The presenter on the day told us that more will happen in the automotive industry in the next five years than the last 50 years! I’m an undergraduate on a years’ placement. I’ve only been here for eight weeks, but I’ve seen so much that brings that statement to life. I’ve seen how our commitment to making sure every new Jaguar Land Rover model line will be electrified from 2020 is being brought to life in everything we do.
