SUPPLY CHAIN ANALYST

Grade C, local Nitra

Salary:  From 1870 eur monthly, 0-15% yearly bonus, other benefits according JLR rules

Contract: Temporary - maternity cover

 

The opportunity

Supply Chain Analyst is a key member of the Supply Chain Management team. Supply chain planning is the component of supply chain management involved with predicting future requirements to balance supply and demand in the plant. It consists of supply chain planning, supply chain execution, control, monitoring and shipping of the parts. This position is able to deal with high level of ambiguity and complexity, anticipates potential risks, develops corresponding contingency plans, and is capable of acting proactively in order to support strategic and/or complex decisions.

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

•    responsible for optimizing the delivery of goods, services and information from suppliers to plant in his/hers group of suppliers
•    balancing supply and demand- to get the parts on time and correct quantity to the plant. Supplier relationship and performance management (delivery, quality) to ensure supply continuity.
•    Real-time demand commitments, considering constraint. Assist in training and development of associates; ensure standardization of processes (develop and maintain process map); assist in the creation and maintenance of training materials. •    what-if scenario analysis capabilities 
•    responsible for the day-to-day execution of the plan as it relates to issuing purchase orders, maintaining planning parameters, expediting product, and resolution of related operating items while maintaining a high level of customer service leading of cost savings projects
•    Analyse, maintain, run and distribute supply chain reports as required. Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis that contributes to overall supply chain goals and objectives.
•    l Excess and obsolete inventory elimination. Monitor flow of orders for outside processing to be consistent with inventory goals. 
•    Recommend improvements and solutions which would improve business efficiency, quality and process while maximizing functionality. Provide go-live support for new implementations. Additional duties as assigned by management.
•    lead and coordinate activities within global operations to ensure uninterrupted supply against plants demand.
•    Develop relationship across the building and network. Consult with leadership and make recommendations based on data analysis. Lead and or support Supply Chain and production planning cross functional projects
 

 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential:
•    Project management skills •    Intermediate MS Office tools knowledge, good PC skills
•    Highly adaptable, flexible and willing to accept new ideas, processes, and procedures
•    Ability to handle many priority projects at the same time

•    Spoken and written English language skills


Desirable:

•    Bachelor’s degree, preferably business

•    Experience in automotive sector
•    Experience SAP
