WHAT TO EXPECT

The Public Charging Experience Manager will be part of the Electrification Services team at JLR. They will lead a wide variety of projects which support the ongoing implementation and activation of JLR’s Electrification Services strategy, including those linked to home / away from home charging of our vehicles and taking these to market.

 

The role will involve the identification; planning and co-ordination of specific projects relating to the provision of these EV charging solutions for the JLR customer. This is a highly collaborative role, your project leadership skills will mean you already have the ability to work directly with stakeholders and deliver relevant projects from conception to delivery.

 

The successful individual will work with JLR’s external partners, internal and regional teams to ensure the services provided give the highest levels of customer confidence.

 

You'll also be responsible for the following:

  • Define, communicate and execute a robust EV charging product strategy, across multiple national and international geographies, whilst ensuring that the stability of current operations is maintained and that the operating model, service levels, resources and cost-base are fit for purpose to support the strategy
  • Delivery of EV charging projects utilising project management techniques to ensure the delivery and achievement of planned outcomes to support the achievement of strategic business objectives of the Electrification Services function
  • Lead projects and work streams; from scoping to delivery and including cross-functional engagement and stakeholder management ensuring project delivery to required timescale, quality and cost
  • Vehicle and app connectivity with associated charging services
  • Work with the operational business and in-market teams to ensure any activities are handed over are fully documented and adhered to, where required
  • Work with the operational business to develop MVP delivery and ongoing development plans
  • Management of required Governance, including milestone reporting, project status reporting, financial reporting and risk and issue management
  • Manage stakeholders to ensure projects add value and are aligned to stakeholder expectations
  • Engagement with JLR Electrification strategy and teams to ensure all requirements are captured and future technology and developments are embedded.

 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Previous experience in a similar role in Product and Project Management with track record of delivery
  • Strong commercial and technical awareness of the vehicle Electrification business and opportunities that exist, with the ability to develop relevant new business models, commercial solutions and business cases
  • Customer experience mind-set
  • Proven track record for partner alignment influencing product and services roadmaps
  • Understanding of Agile methodology and application into Product and Service roadmaps
